Seems like you’re telling yourself this whole thing is a bad idea and I agree.I haven't seen a smoking pipe advertisement in mainstream magazines in a long time, but I'm guessing it's because of their expense and that we're a niche market and these publications are read by the predominately non-smoking public.
Print media is deader than dead. You’ll spend all kinds of time and effort and money doing this to sell how many pipes? 1? 3? 0?
Is it truly worth it?
My best friend is a microphone specialist. He advertised one of his fabulous microphones IN AN AUDIO MAGAZINE and that helped him to sell exactly 0 microphones. You’re trying to sell pipes (no one cares about pipes except us knuckleheads) in a magazine (dead media) that has nothing to do with pipes (yikes).
This, sir, is a bad idea if you’re trying to sell pipes.
