Are Most Non 4 Digit Kaywoodies Subpar?

Sent WV close to 150 new Kaywoodie and 100 new Medico pipes over the last 4-6 weeks. As Jock takes photos of every pipe, that would be a lot to take and post. I know he's been busy shipping for the holidays. Look for these new pipes to be up sometime in January.
He'll have Kaywoodie Straight Grain (very limited production), Virgin Grain(very limited production), Gemini(new line), Unique(new line) and most of the Gold Series line

...also the little low-end push bit Kaywoodie, though small of bowl, does just fine for small-bowl purposes. I like the looks of the higher end Kaywoodie, but even my lower priced examples are perfectly fine. They are kind of cobs done in briar, for travel and yard.
