I have one and I might have smoked it three times. Maybe I should give it another try. I was not impressed though and personally regret the purchase.
I think the gimmick falls short. If you actually like the pipe, fine. But dont think youre being frugal. That money will or will nearly buy you a decent Peterson. Some of my best pipes are small, unbranded meerschaums that cost 40 to 60 dollars at a relatively pricey store. All of these options are objectively more beautiful pipes than any falcon. If money is not a concern however, then this isnt an issue
A big part of the experience of a pipe is the weight, shape, and stem. With Falcons, its always the same so I think you will be met with disappointment the first time you screw a new bowl on and find its the same pipe. So if you think you would like to have the one Falcon and the one bowl you have your eye on, then go for it. Just manage your expectations. If youve got a tight budget I would say dont risk it just yet, buy a solid pipe or even several cobs
