Are 9mm Meers Prone to Breaking?

Do you think it might me a push/pull tenon? Just with an army mount look?

I have one of their army mounts as well. I'd be very surprised if that is not a genuine army mount.

I'm looking at a Barling meer, and they are all 9mm filter army mounts. Would any of you be concerned with the thinness of the meerschaum when they drill out for the filter?

Not sure about how they manufacture those barlings but my AKB is reinforced with delrin.
