I'm looking at a couple of meers and the other than the typical "gorgeous hand carved pipe" description the seller notes "carved by master Reis". I'm not familiar with any meer carvers by that name. I've messaged the seller requesting any information or pictures of marking on the pipes but thought I'd go ahead and ask here while I wait for an answer.

The pipes in question:

I have a pipe from Reis. See attached. It's a decent quality meerschaum. A nice smoker that is coloring up quite quickly.

seeing peoples pictures of how their meers color is awesome. They really all don't show their real deeper personality until they start coloring. There seems to be only a small bit of uniformity in how they actually will color once you're using them. My cheapo one is coloring like a champ I should get pictures. No one would be that impressed until realizing it hasn't been smoked all that often.
