I now this is an old thread but best of my recollection, there use to be a Clock and Pipe shop on

Gay St in Knoxville but alas, like most things downtown on Market Mall area they left or folded some years ago. I live in Knoxville and pipe and tobacco shops are far and few between.

I'm originally from Cleveland and visit there often. If you should find a nice B&M there, please keep me in mind for the information.
Wolf Creek, TN is that where the campground is on the small creek?

I'll have to double check the name as I have not been out there in years.

William's in Cleveland is a very good store. The owner is the only person that works there, it is more of a cigar shop though, but he is very helpful. I have a question about Burn's Tobacconist in Chattanooga: can I go in there and buy cigars if I'm 18? The sign says 21 and over, but I think that's only for the smoking lounge

Gatlin-Burlier is a nice place. Excellent service, but pricey cause its just another tourist attraction. Small, and welcoming. Was just there last week on vacation. Great house blends too, as previously stated. That's the only one I know of in that area , I'm from southern Illinois myself. Best of luck on the hunt. Let us know how you make out.

First off, come to a Chattanooga Pipe Club meeting. Our next meeting is June 4th at the Chattanooga Billiard Club East upstairs from Burns Tobacconist. BTW there is a Burns Downtown, Burns East, and Burns Cleveland. You may be closest to Burns in Cleveland. We are in the process of planning our first pipe show for September 21st.

Check us out on Facebook at Chattanooga Pipe Club

I'm headed down to the Gatlinburg area tomorrow for some hiking. Definitely going to make it a point to stop by the Gatlin-Burlier. It will be my first real B&M experience.

I know of 3 in Memphis, 1 in Jackson, 2 Nashville, 2 in Murfreesboro
There's one in Bristol, too - but I think it's on the VA side of State Street, so it doesn't really count, but if you live in Upper East TN and shop in VA for sales-tax purposes, it could be handy. I bought my first "real" pipe there in the late '80s when the store was in the train depot.

Hi guys. I'm new to the site and from Cleveland ,TN. Williams on Ocoee St. Is pretty much the best that I know of for at least a hundred miles. Melvin (the owner) is a super nice guy. I stop in every few days as it is on my way back from taking my wife to work. Usually there for at least half an hour or so just talking. He doesn't carry any tinned toby though. Except for the usual OTC stuff. But he does have some pretty good house blends. I'm particularly fond of his C.C. Cavendish.
