I am 5'4" and weighed 190 on 12/1/11. I eat no more than 20 gm or less carbohydrates a day for three weeks then eat whatever I want on the fourth week of the month. I now weigh 150 and plan to lose five more pounds by 12/1/13.
It's all about staying healthy- my cousin died of abdominal cancer a couple of months ago- he managed to get in a 60 mile bike ride a month before he died...That eliminated a lot of excuses for me as to why I couldn't get back in the same shape I was a few years ago. Picked up a Bowflex set of dumbells and bench and riding 4 days a week...Also have my wife working out with me...extra motivation....
