I have a few, but no full body suit for me. Wouldn't mind some quarter sleeves and one on the back of each leg, but I don't want to spend the money on any more at this time.
These are on my upper back:
First pic. I drew the design and a local shop inked.
Second pic. my Cousin designed and inked for me at my kitchen table.
Third pic. my Daughter drew the design and I had a local shop do the ink.
All have serious meaning to me and most folks wouldn't have any idea what they are.

It was to mark where the CIA inserted a chip that both gave my position and controls my actions. I hate it when I am on the golf course chatting with friends and the chip takes over and makes me praise the administration of the CIA.
Just don’t go Manchurian Man on us?

I got my first tattoo when my oldest daughter graduated h.s in 4 years and finished her first year of college as well in that time frame, they had a special program for all the smart kids.
We got matching Celtic Symbol father and daughter tattoos and had that done pretty soon after . I have the Celtic Symbol done on the upper forearm. Here is a pic of the tattoo but we had them done in a more aqua color that matched nicely.

I thin was messed up one day and my tattooist wasn't busy for the next few hours so I had him do me a tat that reflected my life. Here is that one it is on the inside of my right forearm. Both of my tats are very visible. I figured if I couldn't see them then what good are they?

You have some nice ink brother! I really like the Celtic knot work.

I've long been fascinated by tattoos and appreciate ones that are well done. I haven't ever felt so strongly about an image that I wanted to commit to having it the rest of my life; I also know, as an artist, what seems great one day, can look really shitty a few days later with some perspective.

I remember being at a pistol range many years ago and looking at a tattoo magazine while taking a break. In it, I saw my caricature of Frank Zappa for Guitar World Magazine (around when Jazz in Hell came out). I was thinking "Why is my art in this magazine?" Someone had gotten my painting tattooed on a limb, right down to the clumsily rendered hand I did. Yeesh. It was very well done and flattering, but surreal, and I felt badly that my hand wasn't better executed.

True story…in my youth I was in pretty good shape. And, I figured that what I needed was black sleeves to signify how bad ass I was. So my 2 biker buddies (both heavily painted) set me up to begin the process with an artist/inker that they knew. The evening of my transformation began with me getting my liquid courage with a bottle of Cuervo Gold. Oh, and I have a childhood fear of needles because of the lying ass pediatrician Dr. Wolf… “not gonna hurt” my ass. ?

So, My friends are getting me tuned-up and ready for the procedure. We arrive and I’m definitely feshnicket, which was my way back when. Artist asks me if I’m ready to begin. I yell “hells ya!”. He then begins to prep and clean my right arm. He then turns the ✍️ on…& I immediately pass out. This tattoo guy being an honest broker, knew not to tattoo an unresponsive patient. To this day I’ve not reviewed a single tattoo…wasn’t meant to be and my fear of needles always hindered further entertainment of the prospect. I think tattoos are awesome…just not in me.

BTW, the entire 2nd paragraph of this tale had to be relayed to me the next day as I apparently remembered nothing after pre-gaming for the event. Of course, my “friends” still bust my golf balls bout to this very day. ? I wonder how many others have similar tales?☕
my big Austin Osman Spare reproduction on my side made me have to pee a lot. Is that the same?

I'm working on a sleeve on my left arm right now. So far I'm about 20 hours into it. I'm taking the Chinese Zodiac signs of myself (Dragon), my wife (Goat/Ram), and my two sons (Pig/Boar & Tiger). So far I just need the Tiger to finish the animals, and then we will fill in with background and such.

Each animal has a specific characteristic to the person. For example, my oldest son is very much a reader and loves anything literary and analog, so his Boar's tusks are tipped with fountain pen nibs. My wife's signature look includes a myriad of glasses, so her Ram has cat-eye glasses. It's taken over a year so far, but I hope to be done by the end of this year.

Then we can start on the other arm! :)
