Hi, I found two ebay sellers from Israel with good feedback that as required selling some new 9mm (my preferred choice) Italian pipes, Mauro Amellini athe vwry good prices. Do you think it's too risky? Thanks
Buying from an overseas seller always has an element of risk. There's no package tracking. But in at least a dozen transactions, including an Israeli seller, I've always gotten what I bought.
I bought an Ardor Bulldog a few years ago and it was a good transaction. You take risks even from local trades, feedback is all you have to go on. Good luck.
I personally do not buy from overseas sellers. The one time I did, it was from a British seller and the pipe took over a month to get to me. I don't need that kind of aggravation, waiting over a month for a pipe so I choose to not go there anymore.
I presume this works out well most of the time, but if things go wrong, you don't have much or any recourse. You might pay a little more to a U.S. retailer, but you get some accountability and possibility of getting your money back if things go wrong, or much more so than with a retailer overseas.
I've bought many from Poland, Ukraine, Britain, Germany and Israel. Never a problem, always use PayPal. I've had orders arrive from China in under two weeks. Check the feedback score and use PayPal.The only bad transaction I had was from a U.S seller who cancelled the transaction with no explanation.
