I've saved a bunch of pipes to my "Favorites" list over the years and now they're all missing. Wish I had used bookmarks instead of relying on SP. Here's hoping they don't take away our past invoices so we can't track price increases.
Some were already sold when I favorited them and others were favorited and then sold (mainly to me). You can clearly still access the sold pipes if you have the link or paste in the product number (in this case 002-376-0333) in SP's search bar.No, my wishlist and favorites are still there. However, when I did order pipes, I favorited the pipes I ordered and I could go to the page for that pipe to see the info about it even though the pipe was "sold out". I screenshot the pages because I figured at some point, the listing would be removed. I was honestly surprised after a year after they were sold, that the pipe's listings were still viewable and thought it odd that the information was still there.
The pipes I saved are gone now, but other stuff isn't. I wouldn't expect them to keep the data forever for a pipe that was sold. Maybe the pipes you lost from your favorites were sold and eventually just removed? They can't keep all the data forever growing and growing, taking up more and more space for nothing.
And hopefully it stays that way. But I'm making a copy of mine just in case.I also never even realized there were favorites or a wishlist, but I’m glad the order history is still there
If this happened to me, I'd immediately suspect my wife, and promptly detain her for interrogation. I'd have to ask a friend's help to to the whole good cop, bad cop thing. Knowing me, I'd screw it up, and it'd end up being good cop, good cop or something...I've saved a bunch of pipes to my "Favorites" list over the years and now they're all missing.
Same, except I'd end up as the sexy copIf this happened to me, I'd immediately suspect my wife, and promptly detain her for interrogation. So I think they do keep the data but it's always been clear that they are trying to minimize how much information about any sold pipe is available. Laudisi has done this with Peterson too, both on the Peterson.ie site and LDG site:

Of course it's theirs to do with but it's annoying to not be able to know what pipe shapes came out in what lines. Thankfully Mark at PPN has helped address that in part.
Thanks, Sykes. Looks like it worked but you can only see one page's worth (24 items) rather than being able to flip through pages.Hey all. Thanks for pointing this out. We changed the rules around favorites lists for site performance reasons unrelated to the way you all are discussing using the favorites list. When we made the change, we hadn't contemplated this as a use case for the feature and turning off access to out of stock products from the favorites solved the problem.
Without making any promises, I'll see what we can do to turn on access to previously sold pipes from the favorites list.
Sykes
