Remember the discussion about the weak vs. the strong... this fine piece of primetime entertainment, will be relevant to that discussion.
They should put South Park characters in the audience like they did at the Denver Broncos game.

heads up. 1 hr South Park pandemic special tomorrow. It should be epic. I always ask myself "what would Randy do"

Another thing I love about American elections are the insane attack ads both sides run. Over here in England we don't get them as it's against the rules. The only ads each side get are a thing called a "party political broadcast" which lasts about 10 minutes. Each side gets about 3 of these and that's it.

I saw one American ad where the guy was shooting piles of paper with a shotgun, I think they were regulations or something? I just remember thinking "that's so American," we'd never get anything like that over here?

I've got a lot to do, so I probably won't watch it. This late in the game it's doubtful that any of the debates will move the dial in any appreciable matter. Short of a really dramatic event, like one of the participants found naked up in the stage perms, flapping his arms and clucking like a chicken, people's decisions, which have already largely been made, will not be changed.
Frankly, I think candidates from all parties should be debating each other from the beginning of the primaries, and get rid of party tickets, kind of like it was in the early days of the country.

We don't really have the big debates come election time. We do however have Prime Minister's Questions each week where they do battle over the dispatch box for half an hour. I think I prefer that as it's a regular thing with questions of the day.

Depressing to think these are the two best candidates our country can put forward. Biden in particular is a total clown. Best line thus far was when Trump deadpans " nobody will show up" to Biden rallies. Biden is performing better than I thought he would but he's still a career politician scumbag.

C'mon y'all. This thread has been alright so far, but you really don't have to inject your personal opinions. One of the nice things about being in the military is we get a lot of practice keeping our mouths shut on political topics.

LOL, we do. We just aren't good at keeping our mouths shut for pretty much everything else.

All Commanding Officers are one penis-joke away from getting fired. Razor thin line, haha
