Anybody Use Clipper Lighters?

i have noticed those Clippers are still quite widely used among smokers especially in the southern european countries and in the British Isles

My Holy Trinity and flints „Made in Spain“. Two on the left are about two years old, the neon-red 9 months or so, all working. Best is if you put it upside down the flame gets larger, good for lighting up a pipe.

I got a 5-pack of the minitubes and they're great if you've got a really deep bowl.

The fact that Clipper's butt fits perfectly in almost every chamber and therefore can be (and is often) used as a tamper gives it additional 100 points before any other odd-shaped Bic / Cricket / Zippo / you-name-it

Yep, these bastards are the best for a pipe IMO. Unfortunately I was never been able to refill one properly. I stick the butane bottle in and press for as long as 2-3 minutes but it never gets as full as it was when I bought it.
On the other hand - they come for almost dirt price at my local tobacco shop so I always grab one or two when I pass by

Although I've used Clippers on and off for years, Poppell refillable, piezo spark, have been my first pick for quite a long time. The piezo eventually dies but they're good for 9 months to a year.
