I have two of the Lorenzo Filtro's that I found locally. Not quite the same as the ones on P&C. One I have only smoked a bowl of PA out of and the other is a dedicated english pipe. It smokes well and is quite light. Unfortunately I can't comment on the ones that are found on P&C.

I have one. A decent pipe for the price, IMO. I don't really go out of my way to smoke it... but, it's nice to have pipes around that can venture outdoors, and if it should happen to be dropped or scratched or whatever, it's not a big deal.

I have a Lorenzo, but it was bought back int the late '70's, early '80's and was more expensive than the one's on P&C website. I am thinking about trying one since the price isn't too bad. If they smoke as good as my old one, they would be a good deal.

Lorenzo pipes were very popular here in Italy during 70'-80'.The better choice for the price they asked for.Usually size was big enough to have a noticeable thickness around the bowl.So these are pipes decidedly not prone to burn and at the same time difficult to break off.Shapes are nice. The only defect is sometime the stain. The Brown/orange/yellow finish tend to decolorate after years of sun exposure.Much better to any Grabow,Kaywoodie, medico or Dr plumb that we could buy for about the same price.Unfotunately Lorenzo Tagliabue passed away in 1987 but Lorenzo pipes and as seconds Dr Hardy can easily find on estate markets

I've owned a few Lorenzos that were pretty nice looking pipes. They smoked alright. Never had one that I couldnt live without, but with the new production who knows. Price is right though for sure.

I have eight Lorenzos and they are pretty decent pipes, though all of them are from the early 1980s. I don't know about recent productions. They are considered to be higher grade seconds.

Pagan I'm digging that picture.
I have one Lorenzo Spitfire, the stem isn't original. I made to make a new one for it. The few times I've smoked it were good. If I saw another in a antique store I'd buy if the right price.
