My wife and I live in the Columbia area of SC (Her all of her life and me a transplant from GA). From the time I've been here I've met some great people and some not so great but it comes with the territory. Great food, great fishing, and the B&Ms I've been to are nice. I haven't been to the Upstate or Low Country yet but that's slowly in the works. Just remember sit back relax and enjoy the hospitality.

Also, you might want to be careful about college football. They take their Clemson-South Carolina very seriously. Or South Carolina-Clemson, if you will. BTW, shrimp and grits!
