SPC wrote a very compelling introduction to the new Kiribi lighters they are stocking on their website. My question i, does anyone else have any experience with these lighters? Looks like a solid competitor to the Tsubota Pearl lighters. I've heard that the Pearl's pipe tools loosen over time, and I was curious if Kiribi's lighters did the same.
Thoughts?

Was actually thinking the same thing! Would love to have a GOOD lighter. I tried oldboy (over rated), Xikar (junk). I have a zippo which works really well, but flame can sometimes go wild. Just went back to the Bic. Cheap and work well.

One of my friends on another forum just did a review of this lighter. He has some quality lighters and was impressed with this one. SP did have them marked down to $68 last week. Mike couldn't confirm if they worked well outdoors, a necessity for my lighter use.
