Any summery blend?

Virginia and VaPers are even better in the summer. Something about that season just makes them sing. I'm usually enjoying some Orlik Golden Sliced, Stokkebye Luxury Navy Flake and Luxury Bullseye Flake, Newminster no.400 Superior Navy Flake, and H&H Anniversary Kake.
I enjoy aros all year round, but in the summer I always snag a tin of Peterson's Summertime blend. Enjoy some of their Connoisseurs Choice and Sunset Breeze as well. As mentioned above Sutliff's Taste of Summer is pretty good too.

I forgot to mention Wessex Brown VA Flake!! My son and I have shared this on the back porch during picnics in the summer to great and wonderful effect. And it's not just for breakfast, um, I mean summer anymore!!

Savinelli Brunello Flake is my favorite summertime blend, and since it's summertime pretty much all the time in Florida, well, it's pretty much always on my desk at the office.

Tsuge Summer Daydream. I'm not a fan of aromatics, but that's a fine, light and refreshing blend.

I agree with the general "VA or VA/PER" sentiment for summer. But there are times during BBQ-ing that a smokey Latakia blend is perfect!

Or a blend that incorporates dark fired leaf, such as the Dark Fired Kentucky Burley which is a great smoke by itself or blended with other Burleys, Marylands and Virginias...

I like lane 150th and navy flakes in the summer. I also tend to smoke more aeros in the summer.

All of these are awfully interesting. I was considering trying some new stuff- had my eye on Jacknife Plug or some GH&C rope, but given that it's finally getting up to the 90s outside, that may not be happening.

LNF is my go to summer blend. I just opened a tin of C &D Opening Nights and I can see myself getting more of that.

GH&C ropes work great in the summer. Just dry them a bit by leaving them out before you pack the pipe while you fiddle with the various sundry tasks of life.
