Any one smoke grass before?

Now before the moderators delete this, it's not what it sounds like. So the other day I was enjoying a corncob with carter hall while mowing the lawn. It happened to be extremely windy that day and It seemed that from all the grass blowing in my face, I was sure to have smoked some. Didn't notice an actual taste difference, just a funny thought.

Any one notice the taste of grass while they were mowing and smoking?

While not grass, I was trimming my beard recently and somehow ended up with beard hair in my pipe.

That was...unpleasant.

Now I know to not let my pipe sit on the sink while trimming.

In the book, Huck Finn smokes corn silk, so a lot of kids tried it, including me. No flavor at all. I doubt

most vegetable matter has much flavor.

I guess I would give 'er a go with some Saint Augustine or Bermuda if the Smoking Nazi's win the war and I ever got really desperate. I'll never eat or smoke Soylent Green though.

I've mowed the grass and smoked my cob quite a few times. I never did think about it, if I did get a bit in there I never noticed it.
