Any Love For the Peterson B shapes

Today’s Peterson Pipe Notes 267. Peterson Rustication, Part 1: the Éire through Dublin Eras - https://petersonpipenotes.org/2022/01/23/267-peterson-rustication-part-1-the-eire-through-dublin-eras/ got me thinking on my rusticated pipes and my favorite a Dublin B shape.


Anyone collect the Bs? I have caught the B bug and notice that more are being produced. Show yours off if you have em.

I love the B shapes. B10 and B42 are my favorites. Quite like the B11 as well. These are the ones I have up to now;

Just for clarity, if you are referring to mine, that is a B7 shape in the Dublin model.

My only B shape is B 42..one of the first ones ...I love the shape B 40 which is kinda rare these days

I have one B10 and two B11's, all fine smokers. I like the B11's for being sitters, brandy-shaped, and the briar Calabash B10 is great in hand and also a fine smoker. I've been lucky with Petersons. I have quite a few, and all have worked well. I've never culled a Peterson from the herd.

I was off on my number those are B61shapes not B56, sorry for the confusion. It is a very diverse shape line. The best write up I have found is Irwin’s blog a five part series of posts
