I was there in January and hit up Nomuras Pipe Shop in Tokyo, not sure if its near Tsuge Factory but worth a visit regardless. Highly recommended, tons of pipes and a very nice selection of Tobacco. Cant wait to go back myself (to Japan), was an awesome trip. Just FYI any pipes you buy you can use a credit card/travel card but the tobacco is CASH ONLY and the owner speaks no english.

I was in Tokyo a couple months back and paid a visit to Ginza KIKUSUI since I stayed in the Ginza area, nice little store in the heart of Tokyo, decent selections. But like Peter Turbo said, the owner speaks no English but sure was friendly and welcoming. Parking is impossible to find but I bet it worth the trip, I loved the wooden boxed Tsuge Virginia, you don't see that blend anywhere outside Japan. Have fun&safe travels!

I just saw all the pics today on the blog, very nice! 👍

By the way I lived in Japan for one year, seeing some of these pics took me back to that time, and a place I certainly understand what you saw and experienced.

The people, the culture, food, so wonderful! 🇯🇵

Had to Google Translate the page but very interesting read.

Was this Tsuge factory tour something anyone can sign up for?

Those Ikebana pipes all look stunning!

I would like to know too but my guess the factory tour is not open to public. Will visit the Tsuge store anyway as its not too far from other sightseeing spots
