I just moved from Colorado Springs to Lacey, WA. I'm looking for some fishing/drinking/offroading/piping buddies haha. I'm sure not many meet all those categories but it would he nice to get to know some dudes up here who are keen on salmon fishing in my area and would not mind filling me in on the secrets and smoking a pipe, maybe having some brewskies. Thanks in advance.

I am from WA as I stated in another thread. I am about 70 miles north of you. I love me some Salmon fishing, however I am usually regulated to my local river. The river I fish on have pretty healthy runs on all of the 5 species of Salmon in the NW. Thought the Pink Salmon have the biggest runs. One of my favorites is Sockeye. I don't know the rivers down south that much but I do know the Columbia is really fun to fish. We did a Sturgeon fishing trip down there a couple of years ago and that was a blast. I do know that there is a get together usually in June or July for all NW people who smoke pipes. Usually meet somewhere in the middle.

Hey! I am right in Tacoma. I like to fish but am a noob. I will definitely meet up for some pipes. There is a GREAT pipe/cigar bar in Fife located upstairs at BJ's bingo. That is also where the Seattle pipe club meets.
Anyway, I am down for whatever, let me know via PM.
ALSO: I am next on the box pass so i will have a whole box of yum headed this way shortly =)

I live in SW Washington and the last 3 years have hosted (with lots of help from others) a NW Pipe Meet Up for anyone that wants to attend. There have been a few from the forum as well as others from the YouTube Pipe Community that have gotten together to hang out for the day and smoke pipes.

The Seattle Pipe Club is a terrific place for every pipe smoker to relax with a pipe. As Philip says, we meet once a month in a fantastic venue-- Smokey Joe's in Fife. There is no charge to attend. There are usually between 30-40 of us who get together. There are pipes to buy or sell. Free tobacco for sampling. And lifetimes worth of pipe smoking knowledge. The SPC is one of the most active pipe clubs in the US. Our members travel from Vancouver BC and Olympia to be here so its definitely worthwhile. Come on by next week, smoke a pipe with us and say hello!
Oh and don't forget, Kevin Godbee himself is our Keynote speaker at the 14th Annual SPC dinner this January 24th. Delicious catered food. Fun live & silent auctions. Lighting of the Clay Ceremony. and mingling!! Get your tickets! Its going to be amazing.
