Hello all,
First off, I want to state that I'm not a musician. I have a very large/diverse music library and have experimented (with a modicum of success) with simplistic music making software. Beyond that I'm out of my element. I have always wanted to actually learn an instrument. Recently I have been reading about various kinds of instruments online and how it's often easier to learn one successfully as an adult. This has my hopes up...
I used to be an extremely skilled typist. Because of this I've always thought that I might have great potential for playing the piano. Unfortunately, I don't have access to one and a quality keyboard is expensive. I've been looking at more inexpensive instruments and the guitar is a constant recommendation.
I will have to wait until late summer before I have any purchasing power, but can anyone recommend me a good quality acoustic guitar and whatever else I'll need to actually tune and play it?
Thank you in advance,
Mephistopheles
