Does anyone have firsthand experience with the Nording Eriksen Keystone pipes? I've always been intrigued by this type of system pipe, and suspect it would work very well. However, the ones I've seen are metal pipes, and I just don't like the look. The Eriksen looks a little more natural to my eye, and if they work well, I would be willing to try one.
One of my big questions is if they must be used with the keystones, or is that optional? I think some of the metal pipes can be used without any type of absorber, or can use a circle of pipe cleaner as an absorber. Is this true with the Eriksens?

No experience with these Eriksons but I have looked at the photos and descriptions with interested skepticism. It looks like the Falcon revisited. I suspect they are at least fair smokers, but they complicate the process of smoking somewhat and I'm not sure they'd repay the extra effort. Some pipe smokers like a little extra to-do, and this might intrigue them. If you leave out the keystones, then I'm not sure what you're gaining, or if the keystones add that much when used. I bet someone has had a great experience with these, and I'll watch for them to chime in and enlighten us.

Might try the 'International' line of Falcons - more traditional looking than the 'regular' ones...
