I got this corncob in an estate deal on ebay along with a couple of other pipes. The sticker with the brand that is typically on the bottom of the pipe was mia. If anyone knows anything about it, it would be greatly appreciated. If anyone is curious I have some nightcap stuffed in there for later tonight! TyiaIMG_2908.jpegIMG_2909.jpegIMG_2910.jpeg

Looks like one of the MM cob. Looked up Endicott Johnson, but nothing related to pipe smoking. Might be a pipe made by MM for a specific vendor? Noticed few of that pipe listed as an antique. Usually, antique cob pipes are specially reserved for weekly garbage pickups.

Promotional pipe made for the Endicott Johnson shoe company. I'd guess specifically marketing their "Ranger" boots. As far as figuring out who made the cob, you may have a tough time. I went on a similar hunt, but to no avail with a "Ludlow Sailor Wire Company" Briar billiard I got on ebay. I enjoy the history though. Thinking that there was a time where you may attend a conference, or purchase a product and receive a branded pipe rather than a pen or a tumbler with a company logo on it. $_57.jpegimages.jpeg

I think you may be right considering what everyone else is saying. I do think it is antique as the other pipes i got with it were too. This one specifically was in rough shape the shank was way loose and the bottom was blown out but i fixed it up today and wanted to see how it smokes!
