I am sorry that u see it that way. I on my part see it different. If I may explain: The advice were all good and for every individual fitting in their processe. As we are all individual we have different solutions to problems. Alone the process writing about it and reflecting myself helped me. In the end what is the goal? Friendly people helping another human beeing. And writing here was helpfull on my way. Does it matter how the goal in the end is achieved? Deciding something is a personal choice. I for myself chose a fitting point in my life which I will stick to.
In the end I could also decide not to give an update. My choice of honoring the responses to this topic was to be honest and straight forward.
If u felt that I wasted your time: I am sorry if you feel that way. That was not my intention.

Ps: it s not about life beeing perfect as I set a specific moment in my life at which cigarettes won't fit me.
All smokers quit smoking, until their next cigarette. 😄

I have been a cigarette smoker since I was 11 years old. I finally quit a little over 20 years ago and that lasted about 10 years.

A coworker gave me a cigar when his wife had their baby and I figured, what could it hurt, lol. Well I was back to smoking, only this time it was cigars.

It started innocently enough, but next thing I know I’m smoking a few cigars a day and inhaling. 😳 I reasoned, maybe I should go back to cigarettes and only smoke 4 a day tops, yeah right. 😆 Before I knew it I was at a pack and a half a day and my lungs sure let me know.

I struggled to get up a flight of stairs without stopping for a breath so I made the decision to transition to vaping and went full in. I was rolling my own coils, mixing my own juice, the whole nine yards. But it wasn’t satisfying, something was missing and I still wanted real tobacco smoke.

I decided to ditch the vaping and started with RYO cigarettes which was much better on my lungs than the vape or the commercial cigs were.

Initially I chose the American Spirit natural RYO In pouches and continued until something changed in the tobacco and it tasted bad so I scoured the internet for a tobacco with no additives and settled on one called Harvest Gold.

To my surprise, this tobacco has been medicinal and I haven’t found any downside other than RYO’s are messy and you get tobacco everywhere. My lungs have never felt better, I have my first smoke in the morning and immediately expel phlegm and breathe much easier.

I’ve decided to ditch the cigarettes and use a pipe instead due to no papers. I smoke the same tobacco in a pipe now and have found the taste to have improved. I haven’t even wanted a cigarette because I smoke the same tobacco in a pipe. I get too much benefit from smoking this tobacco to want to quit, lol.
