Earliest my test results will be back in is tomorrow (Friday). Get to find out if I have throat cancer or not.
My family MD said he's betting it's not, as there is no pain or unexplained weight loss.
Still. It's on my mind.
Here's to a negative test. (But then... what the hell is it? Makes me talk like I'm speaking from a tin can, makes it hard to swallow. And the growth is hard as wood. If not thyroid -- already ruled out -- then... what the hell?)

Weird side note. Knowing I might not get to smoke again, that it might be smoking related, I've had the strongest urge to smoke everything I've got nonstop.
Humans. We're wired too funny.

It could be a number of different things including cysts, granulomas, polyps, etc. which are benign.
Our Community Chorale Director had similar symptoms and it was vocal chord nodules from irritation / overuse.
