I spend a lot of time antiquing and I always look for pipes. There's a real sport in it, often times that are badly damaged but sometimes you can get ones in great shape for a real steal.

Got a question for you...Do you go into a antique store and first ask the owners if they have any old pipes (this speeds up the process) or do you just meander about and look on your own? I ask this because I have tried both and while asking the owner if they have any pipes is a faster method..... it does lessen my negotiating power should they have any. The owners know I am very interested and less likely to drop the price.
