Lastest antique flea market junk shop find. Paid $22 for it. The pipes are mine and are included just for scale. It holds for pipes.

(I did look but couldn't find a general antique shop/flea market find discussion)

Very nice! Are you going to do anything to it? A light sanding and some Tung Oil would look dynamite!

There is a thread for "thrifting" and it includes pipe and non-pipe related items if you feel like checking it out.

That's my plan. Sand it just enough to remove some of the dirt and blemishes and then a light coat of tung oil

I was looking for an easy way to refinish and love what Tung oil does for color and shine. Here are before and after pics of my refinished Decatur pipe stand/ashtray. The wood is walnut and there is nothing on it but six coats of Tung. Didn’t even need to sand between coats.
