I just bought two pair of these on eBay, and the seller has some left. These are genuine century old nickel corn cobs.

Now if you could buy a fresh sack of Our Advertiser you’d be all set up to follow after Tom and Huck and Jim on the river.

The four old cob pipes arrived today, and look like they’ve been stored in a sealed time capsule, for at least 70 years, and maybe over a hundred.

It smokes great. Notice how simple a nickel cob pipe was made, completely natural cob, a tapered hole, a tapered end on a reed. a small hole drilled for the chamber. Capacity is small, maybe a gram and a half. They light easy and smoke without tamping.
