Cool to read an indepth discussion of the components and the thought behind using them to make something cohesive and greater. It'll be interesting to taste how much complexity they've actually managed to get out of three red/orange virginias with the dark stoved leaf being the main component. I'm expecting something like Steamworks but with a little more zip.

Alas, I've succumbed to Laudasi's marketing again.

I need another tin of tobacco like a hole in the head. But I'm going to get some.

The 2022 was really good so I'm happy to try another version. I'm only a bit leery of the inclusion of a leaf found in Steamworks- that blend was a big miss for me, but it's not processed the same so I'm likely overthinking it.

This is testament to the purely subjective nature of pipe smoking. Steamworks is my favorite C&D blend by a very long shot.

If it were a VaPer, I’d try a tin.
This is what I'm debating. The original Anthology is one of my all-time favorite VaPers. I'm more hit or miss on most straight Virginias, and debating whether this is worth it, just based on the branding. I'm in Canada so just trying a tin is a bit more of a commitment.

I picked up a couple tins because I am really wanting to expand my VAs experience. I am a more latakia-forward English and Balkan pipe smoker and I prefer my perique to be barely there or not at all.

That being said, I'm really curious of other routes VA folks might take. I figure FVF would be one but that can be harder to get.
