So, after my discovery of a couple pounds of forgotten tobacco a couple months ago, you would have thought my luck had gone about as far as it could go. I thought this as well. On to the events of today.
I knew this day would be rough. After 3 hours of sleep between working last night and getting up to supervise the moving of the vast majority of our stuff from one storage unit to another, the day did not disappoint. It was an arduous move with several items broken. I also got a face full of dust and mouse turds when the person helping me remove a tarp from one stack of boxes got a bit too enthusiastic. Top off the day with my mother-in-law deciding today was the day to complain about the wifey and my choices in decor and cleaning skills (fair point in the last but we're in the process of moving so a bit of slack wouldn't go amiss). Lovely.
At this point I was about to go to our hole in the basement and consume several gin and tonics and disappear into some form of pointless entertainment. At this moment my wife asks my father-in-law if there were any boxes left in the first storage building...yay more work. He says "yeah, there's a few I moved into this back room since captainsousie seemed concerned about them and the temp is more consistent back there." I proceed to go back and find around 75 jars of tobacco which is the majority of my lost stash, the day is looking up. At the back, there's a ratty box that makes my palms a bit sweaty...it looks like a box I thought long gone in the last move. My trove of special tobaccos that I've been searching for since Christmas 3 years ago. Here's a pic to give you an idea how happy I am.

Over 8 pounds of tobacco, nothing newer than 2013. All of my favorites plus a few I've been hoarding for special occasions. Seven of the SG tins are from 2001, 15 tins of Squadron Leader (my 3rd favorite tobacco), 3 tins of Pelican, several McClelland blends, some truly old C&D blends and various others to try. I nearly cried I was so happy after such a hard day. I think I've used up all of my luck this time.
