So I've got this tin of Bob's Chocolate Flake, which, despite aging and drying, still has too much of that "Lakeland" soapy taste to it, and another tin of McLelland's Dominican Glory, supposedly a cigar leaf tobacco, but more a blend of pressed sweet Virginias - and I don't like either of them very much.
So, what to do? I'm too cheap to throw out any tobacco, so I blended about 2/3 of the Bob's with 1/3 of the Dominican, and, voila! A nice, mellow smoke. The soapy taste was diminished, and the Virginias added a richness that wasn't there before. So now I have a new blend: "Bob's Dominican Glory." Not bad. Not bad at all. ::
