Roth had actually hit 15,000 posts right before he left. He had the highest posts that I have seen so far, and chances are the 'Anonymous' that the OP is talking about is him.

Yes. You will see Anonymous posts from time to time particularly in older threads. Yes a member was recently banned for reasons I won't go into. As for the high post, "Anonymous", yes the member in question was a forum staple and is missed by many here, myself included, but when you dare the site owner to ban you….
If anyone is concerned that they "might be next", just remember to keep your nose clean by following our ridiculously simple rules (Kevin loves Rule #9, hint hint) and you'll be fine. Unless, of course, you make it a point to piss Kevin off in which case, you could find yourself banned.
