I take exception to calling an entire population stupid, rude, repulsive, etc. My experiences are, obviously, different than yours. I've run into many, many people who would not fit your description. I think you are judging based on the lowest common denominator. You should try and develop a wider range of acquaintances and friends. Mine are predominately smart, well behaved, hard working folks, raising children and going into debt to educate them.
Then there are those wearing the uniform of our country (I'm presuming you are indicting the population of the US) and going, as volunteers, into harm's way.
And, if you are calling people stupid because they might view situations differently, vote differently, drive a different brand of vehicle, have a different perspective than you well, that's an opinion you're entitled to. It's all in how you present it.
I have no problem observing that the human race leaves a lot to be desired. But, the vast majority of people I know, are decent, hardworking people, quietly coping with the curve balls life serves up and, where possible, generously assisting those needing help.
