Haha I'd be down for one of H.R. Giger's "Aliens" or at least something Giger inspired. Now that'd be a wacky meer and the perfect material for his art I think!

I would have to consider acquiring a meer if I was able to find a figural carved as either Darth Vader, Boba Fett (or, I suppose, Jango, since they are all just clones), or a Stormtrooper helm (seeing as all the ST's are clones of Jango as well...); I would also love to see some of Dali's work adapted into meer.
I would be deathly afraid of dropping anything Giger inspired, too many fragile protrusions for me...and I have a tendancy to destroy fragile things.

I would enjoy a Meer shaped like a frog, duck or squirrel. All of these are part of family jokes.
