I have an AND Meerschaum and it is a great smoker! I thought I posted something about it in the past, but I'm really bad at using the "search" feature here.

Before I bought my medium-sized eagle claw, I sent them an email and asked some questions. They responded quickly, I bought it, it shipped quickly and it's now my primary go-to pipe! I got it for Christmas in 2021 and have enjoyed it immensely.

It is block meerschaum and it is coloring decently. It's not brown by any means, but perhaps I can post some pictures later on. I have also thought about contacting them again to see if I can get a black stem on a meer since I visually prefer that to the amber colored stems.

Let me know if you have any questions, but the prices are great and I think it's a fantastic pipe. Win - Win.

These prices are what I was used to seeing for all Meerschaums before people started hyping up Altinay and Yanik. Then they all started going up fast. This was all within the last 8 years. I have always thought of meerschaums as cheap because I could see them everywhere for under $100 or so.

I am glad that the good carvers started getting some cred, but the whole industry rode that wave, raising their prices.

I'm not saying that this means these (or this website) are legit or not legit, just saying...

Mostly Paykoc. IMP and AKB were $180+ 10 years ago. When IMP briefly went out of business in 2015, their smaller pieces were $260 and SPC had a half price clearance sell on hundreds of their pipes.

I didn’t mean that they ALL were below $100, just around that.
I wasn’t a smokingpipes customer at that time. I mostly was using The Briary, Pipes and Cigars, and meer websites, when I was looking at meers. Needless to say, I just never bought one.

Remember that site that had flowery meers? Like a rose shape that would come with two stems and a fitted case. I just mention that one pipe because I found it memorable. They had tons of great carvings at very good prices, like a tad less than Petersons.

Anyways, going sideways… sorry. This all doesn’t help the OP.

What’s interesting is the Footer 2024, makes me wonder if the domain was recently purchased.

I wonder who owned the domain meerschaum.com before?

I mean seriously in the world of Meerschaum, somebody big in the industry must of owned that domain… hmm 🤔

I’ve bought two mini’s from them, both billiards with .75” wide chambers. They are block (sticky when wet😉) and they smoke well. And they come with cases, what’s not to like?
No brainer at the same price as mid level cobs.
I’ve been meaning to get one of their standard size, but I like small pipes so I haven’t been too motivated to do so (most of my spending is aimed at tobacco currently).
