I think this shape can be overdone. The angle too drastic. Not the case with this pipe. It looks darn near perfect to me. Who made that beauty?

Granted, there are some Doc Kovalev pieces I'd have..

Very nice. With the accent on the bottom of the bowl it is almost a nod to the cavaliers of old.

Looks a bit top heavy. The bowl is a bit out of proportion to the shank and stem.

None at all.

One of Doug's passions is coming up with modern/updated versions of classic designs. This is a good example.

My only involvement in his work is occasional commentary on pipes he has in process, usually regarding lines and visual mass/balance.
