I have a .308 spent brass casing that i use when I'm outdoors. Still looking for the right deer antler to size down to add character.

nsfisher: That's usually the way I do it, I have one very large bowl that gets the thumb even.
Hiking or camping usually brings the opportunity to whittle an impromptu tamper from a stick, which is a fun way to spend your time between bowls.

ya even after 24 yrs marriage, wife still says i'm rustic and old fashioned. She says i belong in the 100 yr ago era, I guess i tend to agree. even my way of talking is short an to the point, No frills here

I was using a 500 S&W case the other night might have to add some antler to it that looks pretty nice
