You'll just have to train your cats to do what our last outside cat, "Squirty," did. (We can't have outside cats any more because of too many coyotes in the neighbourhood.)
Anyway, Squirty would spend the day out hunting, killing and collecting rodents ranging from mice to squirrels to voles, then bring them to our front porch, line them up in neat rows and let us know that she had a successful day. I even wrote a little ditty about this, sung to the tune of "Wabash Cannonball":
When Squirty goes a huntin'
she always gets her catch,
she brings them back to show us,
when we open our latch.
We hear her yowl of triumph,
and we know what's in store -
with fear and trepidation
we open up our door.
(Chorus): And we'll see mousies by the dozen,
rodents by the score,
rows of little squeakers,
all lined up by our door.
Yes, we'll see mousies by the dozen,
rodents by the score,
and rows of little squeakers, all lined up by our door!
