I love the pink-cap Blenheims!

I live in SC, so it is pretty easy to find.

It is fun to watch it take the breath away from first-timers.

A splash of bourbon doesn't hurt, either!

The other day, I was just about to post something snobbish about the ginger ales that were made with soda water. But, then guys had posted that they loved it, so...

If you guys like those soda based ginger ales, try one of these stronger ginger beers or this Blenheim stuff sound similar, or if you can find some home brewed. It's not even in the same category as the stuff in the 2 liter soda bottles. It is strong with the ginger. You don't want to drink too much of it, but it is definitely an experience on the taste buds, like no other.

It will also help settle a queasy stomach, or calm you nerves, or remove corrosion from an old car battery, ha ha.

My mom is from the east coast and she would only drink Schweppes ginger ale, since that is all we had as a kid, that is what ginger ale tastes like to me. I’ve tried Vernors, Canada Dry and a couple of smaller production ones I cannot remember, but I always come back to Schweppes.
