This is NOT a mini-pipe, but 7" long with a full-size bowl.
I've never seen a 460 before, live or on the Net.
Condition is effectively perfect.
O Intellectually omnipotent Bard of Barlings, we, the hopelessly unworthy denizens of this humble website, do hereby grovelingly beseech you to enlighten us concerning this pipe. Amen
(That oughta do it. Them Hollywood guys loves 'em some flattery. )

Wow, what a pipe! The Bard is taking a forum break, but he'll love it when he sees it.

Any idea of the age...
Post war - 1962. The "larger" Barling's Make stamp. Any markings on the underside of the stem, Reg'd number or Barling Design, would narrow things down a little more. :)

Actually, to be completely correct, Post war - 1961. The four digit Barling's Make pipes from 1962 used the "smaller" arched Barling's Make mark. Their stems often do have the Barling Design mark on the underside.
:)

Anything longer than 6" added pipe management to my pipe smoking. Churchwardens look enchanting but were entirely impractical for me. But were I to have this pipe I would gladly cave to that management.

George, another great score, you are on a roll. I have a similar pipe to yours that is numbered 476. Does the higher number mean my pipe is better than yours?
