Fermented dark Virginias. You're going to have fun with Brown Bogie, Brown Irish Twist, and Black Irish Twist.
I recently was given some MacBaren's Mixture: Scottish Blend. And I watched a video review (as I tend to do with the tobaccos I am trying out). The guy described it as smelling like cat pee. Can't say I agree or disagree. Don't know what cat pee smells like tbh.cat pee and cow manure smells from tobacco can be attributed to fermentation. Most will tell you that the tobacco needs more time when you smell them. In the case of nasal snuff, I love it when snuff is ammonia-y and barnyard-y
This guy makes Lee Scratch Perry look conservative.
This ^^^... exactly, with the cabbie's, was my experience also.My all-time favorite single-leaf burley variant, Tabac-Manil Semois smells distinctly barnyard, and quite a bit of manure along with the hay, but once I light it up, it is all honeysuckle and sunshine to me. Funny the way that works.
