Alternative Tobacco Storage

Looking for ideas for non glass (mason jar) tobacco storage. Packing up for a deployment. Last trip I used ziplocks in a pelican case but this time Im bringing more to share with my Soldiers. Im sending some stuff ahead of time in a shipping container.
Any ideas of what I can use would be great. Maybe ziplocks are the best but wanted to hear your ideas

Mylar bags.
Also, very thick plastic bags (the kind most tobacconists do not supply) work for many months on end. Double bagging increases it.

Before Pease used canisters for 8 oz of his tobaccos he used bags with additional layer(s) to keep more than just air away from the contents. If you have time you might email him for information.

Wrap some up in a brick shape. Store it in your trunk, under the spare. Should make for interesting conversation at a traffic stop or going thru customs.

Mylar bags with resealable tops. They do also make seals for mylar bags that look like a split plastic tube. The bag is folded on top and the seal slides over the bag. Can be opened and closed multiple times. I have used them for storage food in the past and they work well.

Mylar bags can also be cut to size, and heat sealed. When opened the re-useable seals can be installed, for re-use. Cutting to size should work well for tobacco.

A nalgene water bottle would do well as well. That and you could use it to re-hydrate the tobacco as needed just by adding a few drops of water and setting it in a window. I used one for transporting cigars on my deployment with great success. Mylar is great but if you're a flake smoker then they do nothing to keep the tobacco from getting crunched up.
