I’ve had this unsmoked Bonnaud clay pipe kicking around for a while but it had no stem on it. I was at the garden center today and they had small diameter bamboo for $0.63 per 3’. I grabbed a few pieces thinking I could whip up a quick stem for my clay.
Bonnaud clay pipes were made in Marsalis from about 1825-1939. I have no clue where this pipe falls into that but I’d guess closer to 1940 than not. But some one who knows more about clays than I do might know better.
