I’ve had this unsmoked Bonnaud clay pipe kicking around for a while but it had no stem on it. I was at the garden center today and they had small diameter bamboo for $0.63 per 3’. I grabbed a few pieces thinking I could whip up a quick stem for my clay.

Bonnaud clay pipes were made in Marsalis from about 1825-1939. I have no clue where this pipe falls into that but I’d guess closer to 1940 than not. But some one who knows more about clays than I do might know better. 625BDD7F-3978-486A-9F56-7518A601EDAC.jpegB7031392-1261-4351-B56E-64349FFD7F40.jpeg949FB7B5-4CBE-4043-B0F4-C34A00B3751F.jpeg0D40F803-3B79-4B82-8A85-1880BC16C3EB.jpegA1BDCBE6-A58E-4A81-97F8-CCA4727BCDFB.jpegB11D0594-61AD-4376-B2CF-871CE5762507.jpeg137F8258-D7C6-44C8-8FA9-5BABC870836E.jpeg44724B80-9715-4620-A9A2-F33C6513ACBF.jpeg84F23147-FCD1-418F-9FCC-7CF45E5DCF72.jpeg91A0E8D6-C049-4D00-B9DA-CE2C2D7FF2F9.jpeg
