Stopped at an antique shop today and saw a couple of pipes that could be some nice fixer uppers but didn't like the prices they were asking. This one caught my eye though and the price didn't seem too bad either! Plus she said she could take 20% off but unfortunately I have to hold off on the PAD until I go out to Colorado over thanksgiving. Here is a pic from the shop.

Not sure if that's an amber stem or not but the pipe is in perfect never smoked shape. Maybe next time.

Yeah I found a few Kaywoodies this last Saturday (we went to quite a few antique shops) and none of them was over $10... but like you I didnt pull the trigger. Nothing much better than that.

BUT what I did find was a very old "Collins" double bit axe... im all giddy with excitement to restore it... not that I need any more axe's but for the $ it was a steal. :D

Perhaps the shop will take a deposit and hold the pipe for you till you return home after Thanksgiving.

If that is a no name meer, then it is probably not the high quality stuff. I would be careful of that one. Maybe ask Storient if he can give you some advice.

+1 Harris. I wonder what the info(if any) on the box it rest in says about the make of that meer.

I'd pass on that one. Looks ugly, IMO.

The pipe has the original packaging and some papers in it. I will have to check the brand next time I go in to the shop.

Yeah that is a bit pricey even with the discount

You could save a little more and get a new one or I have even seen CAO meers on ebay sell for less.
