Best metaphor this month!
Yeah honestly when I first tried it from a box pass it was brittle dry, I thought it was great, I smoked bowls back to back it was so good. I added the slightest moisture to it and I was disgusted, I couldn't believe it was the same tobacco, the charred steak was gone and it was just this really unpleasant taste and the charred steak flavor was gone completely.

I've never got the sneezes from RY but the taste does wear thin on me after a while and I have to take a good long break from it to be able to enjoy it anew. In your case I would give it a couple weeks, then rechallenge. If it's an allergy, it should come back right away, then you'll know.

I make it a point to clean all of my pipes after smoking them and extra care is taken with the system.

I'm big on "an ounce of prevention.."

Keep thinking about that.

I wouldn't doubt if it's something in the flavoring giving you the sneezes, I had a similar reaction to an aromatic once, vanilla maple flavor. If it were the pipe it would probably taste really gross, like smoking tar

I was getting the feeling that it was indeed the topping that was affecting me.
I'm going to try a bowl tonight after work in a freshly cleaned pipe and see what happens.

Brian: make sure that someone is nearby in case it is an allergic reaction which could become serious (e.g. angioedema or anaphylaxis). Its unlikely, but pays to be cautious until you know that its not an allergic reaction.

Dunhill couldn't get any better advertisement for Royal Yacht than a news story about Royal Yacht sending someone into anaphylaxic shock and having to get an epipen injection and a defibrillator pouncing about. I know, I'd have to rush out and stock up ASAP! Sounds like my kind of blend! If I didn't already have a bunch in the cellar. :puffy:

Bahahaha!
I actually usta have 2 epipens. I'm very sensitive to dust and I worked in an extremely dusty warehouse. They're long expired now I'm sure.
Funny how plans change. Went for the Montgomery tonite instead of the Yacht.
Tomorrow probably.
