elected officials. Some of them don't know any pipe smokers. More tobacco tax is just good public health
policy, never mind what form of tobacco. Forums members are all people who are capable of communicating
in writing or by phone. Bear in mind, a significant part of the pipe smoking population along with the population
in general doesn't ever write anything, not even a note to their moms. Anyone on Forums inclined to run for office?
Democracy doesn't always work, but it can work, and sometimes with great power and decisiveness, but the
reps can't do our bidding if we don't let 'em know what it is.
Meantime, I'll squirrel away what tobacco I can, so that I put off the time of my monthly $35 bowl of tobacco.
