All Human From Africa?

I remember learning in high school about the DNA for skin pigment being able to pass on the same or lighter, but not darker pigment to the next generation....or something like that, I am talking about 25 years ago in a classroom setting I was only vaguely interested in. Anyway, it helped support the migration out of Africa to Europe/Asia etc somewhat.

I've read it at least 3 times and every time I learn something new, a fascinating eye opener of a book.

Don't have any issue where Homo sapiens came from. But it seems original location of Homo erectus is generally agreed up on that it was Africa. And Homo erectus was well distributed in Europe and Asia. So the question becomes when the scientists say "human" which one are they talking about?

Apparently, the 21st Century is not so removed from the 14th Century as one might have imagined.

Evolution is a topic that just seems to bring out the best and worst in people. Another thing to note is that religion is great as long as it isn't organized. Once people started going to the same building to worship, we are screwed.

The great experiment that is America is not just our leaning toward democracy, but our willingness to live together in a multiethnic, religiously diverse society. The ancient parochial challenges of classism and tribalism continue to be chasms and barriers. Other societies have tried it with very limited success, but it doesn't mean it isn't worth the effort to succeed.

There's a greater chance of there being some truth to that than to Darwinian evolution...IMO.
