Lonestar AldenPipes.com continues to shine.
Fresh from his selection as one of the winners of the KC pipe carving contest, like a runaway 18 wheeler with no brakes, he's carving his way to the top of the pipe world with this petite, pinched shank, brindle blasted, brandy.
5.40" length 1.65" height

tobacco chamber is .76" wide by 1.40" deep

weight is 29 grams !

Check out the pinched oval/diamond shaped shank.

Really like that one. Great balance and proportion. I like the way step-down on the saddle bit is more of a gentle slope. And is that a diamond shank?
Well done.

Wow, 18 grams for the win! I love the lines on that brandy, and the hardwood ring. I am anxiously awaiting my commission from Ryan- probably another month though...

Hang in there hiplainsdrifter. Dealing with a custom item and not an off the shelf product can take some time. I think it will be worth the wait.

Gorgeous. I've seen his pipes in person when I met him, and I bet the pictures don't do it justice.
chispa, you mentioned an 18-wheeler. Did you know he was a trucker before he became a carver?
