I always keep my pipes in my carry on and tobacco lighters and tools in my checked baggage.
What are the regulations re butane?
I like to use a Faix Pont lighter and need to refill it during longer trips. I’ve never tried to pack butane in my luggage because I assume it isn’t allowed.Does anyone know for sure?

It is definitely not allowed. I just pick up a new Bic before leaving the airport, and throw the one in my pocket away before checking in.
