What a way to head into the weekend, thanks to the fine folks at Smokingpipes.com I have received my latest order and I'm rather excited to try the Three Nuns and the Capstan Gold. I've already had the Capstan Blue and I loved it and for the days I need my sweet fix the CB Dark is a nice smoke. Happy puffing this weekend gents!

Nice TAD order! I ordered both Capstan's and the Three Nuns when it came out, but haven't cracked a single tin yet. I keep putting off adding on the CBD to orders...

Hey Matt, when you open the Capstan or the 3 Nuns make sure to let me know how they are - I've been dying to hear more about them ;-)

I'll let you know! The reviews here have been good, but being a cheapskate I haven't started stockpiling tins yet.

Andrew, go to Money Mart they have the best pre-paid credit card on the market, I use mine for all my online purchases and in the states as they don't charge conversion fees on currency exchange and it usually saves me $50-60 each trip to the USA.
Hfearly, I tried one flake of Capstan Blue and it was enough to get me to order more tins. I plan on cracking one tin and adding a tin or two to each order I make in the future, its that good.
Ghost, if you like sweet aromatics then its worth trying CBD. I've finished my first pouch and when I'm looking for something sweet it scratches the itch. Add that it has a nice kick to it and it actually tastes like vanilla and its a decent smoke for a very low price.
I plan on trying the Three Nuns tonight with Pruss, I've opened the tin to dry a bit and can't wait to try it!

Brian, nice score. The Capstan Gold is a fine blend. I think you will be amazed at the citrus backbone that is has, at least I was. It is the most citrusy( don't know if that is a word) blend I have ever smoked. I am down to one last flake in my tin and I will be ordering more. I smoke it as a first smoke of the day and have enjoyed every bowlful.

Given history, by the time I see this tobacco tonight it will have been sun-dried, put through a toaster oven, and baked in order to get to the level of dryness that brdavidson likes... 8O
I kid.
Mostly.

:D

I'm looking forward to trying it Harris, the blue was just an amazing smoke and I'm getting better at the cube cutting and packing of flakes. I'm meeting up with Pat this evening for dinner and we'll be doing some trading so I'm hoping to find a nice flake pipe out of his collecting to compliment the one Dublin I have right now. Now I'm gonna have to open the gold as well. Man I have too many things open at once!!!

Hey Pat, don't forget the hair dryer...after all it was YOUR idea! Don't worry, I'll keep a few coins in a dark moist place for you tonight. :nana:

On second thought, dry is JUST FINE.
I have a flake of Capstan Gold for you. Don't open your tin. It hasn't been in the Gobi desert, so it might be a little damp, but you should have no problem correcting that.

Matt, you probably don't want to know. Things are a little different down here in the Shwa!
